Calendar of "Autumn Evenings"

The Board of Yacht Club has approved the program of the autumn evenings that will be held at our Club House.

Here is the poster relating to the proposed initiatives:
– November 1st Wednesday “Social Lunch” tasting a delicious menu based on pumpkin and then continuing with chestnuts and Ribolla.
– November 10th Friday presentation of the book “Una milonga a Portopiccolo” by the author Andrea Ribezzi.
– November 24th Friday “Social dinner” at the end of the year, the location is to be defined.
– December 1st Friday, with partner Andrea Petric, gemologist and goldsmith, conference on ‘Famous Diamonds’.

Evening with the Author - November 10th, 2023

We are pleased to invite you to our second autumn appointment, the presentation of the book “Una Milonga a Portopiccolo” by the author Andrea Ribezzi.
The event will be held on November 10th starting from 7.00 pm at our headquarters.

A Milonga in Portopiccolo” is a detective novel that sees two apparently connected investigations taking place in the Trieste area, forcing a Commissioner, one step away from retirement, to find a solution to the cases amid numerous twists and turns.

The presentation of this book will be a special opportunity to meet the author Andrea Ribezzi, listen to his stories and immerse yourself in the charm of “A Milonga in Portopiccolo“.

There will be the opportunity to buy a signed copy of the novel.

The evening will end with a toast with the Author, followed by, for those who wish, a buffet.
We are thrilled at the idea of ​​spending this evening together and welcoming all of you to the presentation of the book.

“All Saints at the Yacht Club” evening - November 1st, 2023

We are waiting for you on Wednesday 1 November at our headquarters for a moment of sharing in the name of good company and good food. Starting from 12.30 pm lunch in company delighted by the menu prepared by our partner and chef Vincenzo.

For the occasion, the menu will include:
– Welcome aperitif;
– Pumpkin flan with montasio cream;
– Pumpkin and porcini risotto creamed with smoked ricotta:
– Chestnuts and new wine.

The cost includes bulk wine from the Cormons winery served in a jug and water (cocktail tasting is subject to a fee).

On Wednesday we concluded the first event of the 2023 autumn season.
It was truly a pleasant and fun day, thanks to the participation of all of you and the delicious dishes prepared by our partner and chef, Vincenzo.
Furthermore, we cannot help but mention the always welcome and engaging presence of maestro Denis, who makes every occasion special.
In addition to the warm participation of you members, we are pleased to welcome two members of the Board of Directors of the “Liberty Yacht Club” of New York, with whom we will establish a collaborative relationship.
